Giving users access to a vast range of entertainment options—including Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, and many more—it’s easy to see why Amazon’s Fire Stick has become so popular. 2016’s addition of Alexa voice control to the Fire Stick Remote made the device even more powerful, meaning that you now need only ask to see your favourite films or TV shows appear on screen. How can I play with a PS4 gamepad? BlueStacks provides built-in controls for various games, that you can play with your PS4 gamepad. These games will have a green gamepad icon underneath them, as shown below. Many game developers provide gamepad controls as well. You can use the controls they provide, by enabling native gamepad support. The ATEN PHANTOM-S is fully compatible with both the PS4™ Remote Play application and Xbox game streaming, which allow you to control your game console from a computer. With the application installed on a PC, you can connect the PHANTOM-S and continue gaming with your KB/M while remotely connected to your game system.
My favorite controller right now for both the is my Sony DualShock 4 PS4 Controller. The DualShock 4 (sometimes called DS4) Playstation 4 controller is a Bluetooth controller and works out of the box in a lot of scenarios. I use it for PC gaming and it works with SOME of the Fire ecosystem, but not all of it, and, unfortunately, the default button configuration doesn’t necessarily align with what you’d like. This can be corrected in rooted devices, but at present I’m going to avoid that side of life.
I’m trying to nail down a good compatibility list for it at the moment and will update the post when I have.

Note that there are actually two versions of the DualShock 4, and I have the older of the 2, which is no longer available, while the links on this page go to the newer one. I’m not aware of any differences in compatibility between the two.

If you have an Amazon Fire TV and a Playstation 3 (PS3) but don’t want to pay for another controller for the Fire TV, you’re in luck. In a YouTube video from Amazon Fire TV, they have demonstrated a way to connect a Playstation 3 Dualshock 3 controller to the Fire TV. It is not an instant connection though, as you have to install some software first.

On your computer, you need to download the software “SixaxisPairTool”. Once that is installed, connect the Dualshock 3 to your computer over USB while the software is running and let the driver be installed so your computer recognizes the controller. The MAC address of the controller will then be displayed onscreen.
You will then have to also install and run the “Sixaxis Controller” app on your Fire TV, which costs $2.99. After that, run the app and tip the checkbox for “Enable Joystick” under the Joystick menu, which is located inside the settings of the app.
Playstation Remote Play Amazon Fire
When you do that, you will see the local Bluetooth address of the Fire TV, which will then be entered into the “SixaxisPairTool” app located on your computer. Once you apply the change, turn on your Dualshock 3 controller and you should be connected.

The Amazon Fire TV has already been proven in the past to work with the Xbox 360, Playstation 4, and other controllers, but it’s nice to see more compatibility. Let us know in the comments if this worked for you.
